This wonderful Chinese necklace dates to the end of the Qing Dynasty, China's longest and final imperial dynasty. The pendant is a silver heart, double sided, and decorated with flowers using the repoussé technique, giving it depth. A silver flower link connects the pendant to a beaded necklace. The two-strand necklace of coral, mother of pearl, and turquoise beads is strung on bright yellow silk. The piece is finished with a silver chain and a hook and eye clasp. Like most vintage Chinese jewels, this necklace is incredible, with so much detail you will never tire of admiring it. Circa 1920.
